(English) UNCERTAIN ANSWER 6/6/76

As a Sabahan new generation  Double six is the biggest mystery in Sabah history because of prohibition any imprint related to Double six even “The Golden Son of the Kadazans”, a biography on former State Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Peter J. Mojuntin who died in the “Double 6″ tragedy of June 1996 also being banned on elements that could threaten peace reason.

Where, When and Who.....

 

 Took place on June 6, 1976 in Kota kinabalu, Sabah. The plane, operated by Sabah AIR, coming from Labuan crashed in the sub-district of Sembulan in Kota Kinabalu upon approaching KKIA.  For uncertain reason, the plane plunged into coastline of Sembulan and killed all 11 passengers on board including Tun Fuad Stephens (Chief Minister of Sabah at that time).
The other passengers on the flight were:-
1) State Ministers Datuk Salleh Sulong,
2)Datuk Peter Mojuntin,
3)Chong Thien Vun,
4)Assistant minister Darius Binion.
5)Ministry of Finance of Sabah Datuk Wahid Peter Andau,
6)Director of Economic Planning Unit of Sabah Dr. Syed Hussein Wafa,
7)Isak Atan (Private Secretary to Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah),
8)Corporal Said Mohammad (bodyguard to Tun Fuad Stephens),
9)Captain Gandhi Nathan (the pilot of the aircraft)
10) Tun Fuad's eldest son Johari Stephens.

How....

 

The reason behind the crash is uncertain. The Australian government sent team investigators to assist in finding the cause but yet no certain answer and the final assumption come out that mechanical failure occurred from overloading was one of the contributing factors. but original report on the incident remains classified.
Accident or conspiracy still become uncertain issue.....
The second  issue ..where is the Black box????

Why.....

Coincidently there was disagreement and tension between Sabah and the federal governments about the oil royalty and Sabah’s rights at that time!! Tun Fuad Stephens wanted to fight for 25% of the oil royalty, a huge difference with the 5% we get today. Double coincidence a politician, who was supposed to take the same flight, didn’t go on board and triple coincidences he's the man who become next Chief Minister  (know who)!! and with the flow the new  Sabah government accept all the instruction and rip-off 5% oil royalty deal and Sabah right until today...(Fact).. but none argue with or deep investigates until today.
Nowadays, the memory is fading out more fast than any history because of the prohibition of any publications even a biography !!!

               Good people do not need laws to tell them to act responsibly, while bad people will   find   a way around the laws
